Super-cool little early 70s beatbox. If there's a party happening then this baby is definitely there. Very uncommon and the condition of this one is great.
NOTE: this will ship within 10-15 working days of purchase. It's working but needs some capacitors replacing to correct tempo drift.
Gloss black plastic face; disco-tastic colours; variations and double-time button allow wild dancefloor jams under the glitter ball.
Sound and functions of the Ace Tone Rhythm Fever are very similar to the FR-3 and its various close relatives; lovely warm analogue beats that have a pleasing 'woody' tone to them - and it's not marred by any noticeable age-related artefacts. However the rhythms on the variations (which you can combine with other rhythms) definitely take you into some pretty funky territories.
CONDITION: Excellent overall condition, the face is very clean with just a few scuffs to the polished surface. Case is clean except for a split on one edge (but note that this will be improved before we ship it - these are quick photos!). See photos for more information on cosmetic condition.
For sales in UK/EU the price will include VAT. VAT-free sales are possible to businesses and individuals in the EU (outside the UK) with a valid VAT Number - please get in touch if you wish to buy this way.
VOLTAGE:
- 100v Japanese model; will run fine on North American mains 115/120v without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use.
- A step-down transformer is required in the UK/EU.
- We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made unit if required.
